How it works
- Add your images: pick them, paste them, or drop whole folders. Files that are not images are skipped.
- Set a maximum width or height, an optional maximum file size, the quality and the output format. Proportions are always kept and images are never enlarged.
- Press Process. Each image is resized and compressed on your device, with a before and after size on every card.
- Download a single image, or all of them as one ZIP that keeps your folder structure.
Smart mode and manual mode
Smart mode applies one set of settings to every file. Manual mode gives each file its own size, quality and format, with an Apply to all button when one setting fits the rest. In both modes you can open any image to change it and redo just that file.
File-size targets that respect quality
With a maximum file size, the tool looks for the highest quality that fits. It never goes below quality 60 and never shrinks the picture on its own: if a file can't fit, it tells you, so you can choose a smaller width or height for that image. If a result would be larger than the original, the original is kept unchanged.
Formats, colours and photo details
JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC and GIF files are accepted, including iPhone HEIC photos. You can save as JPEG, PNG, WebP or AVIF, or keep the original format. Animated GIF and WebP files stay animated where your browser supports it. Colours are converted to sRGB so photos look the same on every screen.
Camera details, dates and location are kept by default. Photos are turned upright and their recorded size is updated. Tick Remove metadata to strip all of it before you share the images.
Your images never leave your device
Everything happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, so private photos and documents stay with you. The tool adapts to your device: phones work through large batches one or two images at a time, so the page stays responsive.
Questions
How many images can I process at once?
There is no fixed limit. Images are processed one after another and the tool checks each file against your device's memory first. Very large images that a device can't handle are flagged with a clear message instead of crashing the page.
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no upload limits, because nothing is uploaded.
